A series of 30-minute portraits of contemporary artists. Unique, clear, accessible and enlightening life stories. The idea is to give an intimate and more than simple image of contemporary art personalities, as never seen before.

Pascale Marthine Tayou, Valérie Jouve, Barthélémy Toguo, Joana Hadjithomas, Khalil Joreige, Wang Du, Maja Bajevic, Mohamed Bourouissa, Claude Lévêque, Ivan Argote, JonOne, Matali Crasset, M/M (Paris), Mounir Fatmi, Orlan, Emeric Lhuisset, Katerina Jebb, Ali Cherri.… You do not know any of these names? Yet they belong to our generation. They are dynamic, prolix, and internationally famous.
Who are they? Where do they come from? What are they made of? Which shock or emergency, which meeting triggered this ability to create? What do they have to tell us on our world? Their life path is complex and marked by resilience and creation, their careers with hope and success.

When contemporary artists speak out on our society’s issues, they offer an innovative reflexion on problems that usually may look impossible to solve.
Artists share with us their perception of the world and the existential questions that stimulate them and which they express through their work.

No bio, no voice over, no interviewer: 30 minutes face to face to gently travel from the man to the artist, from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
